Dear Family,
Spring is in the air in spite of the crazy weather! Now is the time I see the children becoming more confident and outgoing. They are especially proud of themselves and their accomplishments. And, most certainly aware of all the patterns we have established throughout the year. This can be a very positive time and a bit challenging. The children can be high energy for a bit (of course!) and then frazzled by exhaustion with these longer days of sunlight. Please, please be sure to continue the patterns you have established at home this year and be sure your child continues to get the sleep he/she requires, good nutrition, and attention they need during these longer days. More “downtime” with family or perhaps a quiet trip to the library could be the solution. I am confident April and May will continue to be happy and positive for all of us as we remember to breathe, relax and share time together enjoying the sunshine. The scientists in C-6 know so much about snails. We are looking forward to exploring isopods next week and, when we return to school after spring break, the very interesting earthworm. And, I am also looking forward to a productive, uninterrupted 50 days of learning with your scholar! Have a peaceful weekend and play hard outside! Taylor REMINDER DATES: April 6-10: Spring Break April 15: Early Release 12:45
