We are awaiting our wings to fly as we watch the caterpillars transform into butterflies! The caterpillars are just beginning their chrysalis stage and hopefully we will see a few beautiful butterflies next week! Next week will conclude our Animals Two by Two science studies.
As part of our homework, please make sure your child is tracking with their finger while reading the book from their book bags. This time of year we start to get tired, but tracking helps build fluency and we want to continue emerging into excellent readers! Also, please take a look at all the work in your child’s Friday Folder and if you find something incomplete then the kiddos need to finish it as homework. Handwriting practice is also a part of homework, so please keep having your child write at night. Thank you for your support at home! On Thursday, June 12, we will be going to Donner Lake for a fun filled day playing on the beach. Transportation is still being discussed so I do not have information to hand out at this time. As soon as the details and transportation are finalized I will send home information in your child’s book bag. Parents are encouraged to come so if you have the day off you are welcome to join us and help chaperone. Will send out information ASAP! Happy weekend, Taylor REMINDER DATES: June 12: Beach Day at Donner Lake (more information coming) June 13: Last Day/ Carnival Day/ Early Release
